What To Expect
Welcoming a new baby is one of life’s most meaningful moments. we specialize in Winnipeg newborn photography that captures it beautifully and safely. Our sessions are designed to be calm, gentle, and completely baby-led, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and natural moments. With over a decade of professional experience, you can feel confident knowing your little one is in caring, capable hands. We follow strict hygiene practices at every session—hands are thoroughly sanitized, all props and surfaces are cleaned between clients, and a mask is worn during close contact to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for your newborn and your family.

When should we schedule a newborn session?
The ideal time is within the baby’s first two weeks of life. This is the best stage for posed sessions. Between 3–8 weeks, it’s still possible to book a newborn session; however, babies tend to be more resistant to posing at this stage. In that case, we focus more on swaddled photos, tiny details, and family shots.

Once you sign the contract, we reserve space in our schedule around your due date. Even if your baby doesn’t arrive exactly on that date, you just need to contact us after birth so we can finalize your session booking. Clients with signed contracts have priority scheduling, which is why it’s important to book before the baby is born.

No need! We provide everything for your baby’s newborn session—outfits, accessories, swaddles, headbands, and more. All you need to bring on the day of the session are essentials like diapers, milk, and a pacifier.

We also photograph babies while they’re awake! Every baby is unique, and working with them requires patience and care. We use gentle techniques to help soothe your baby and encourage deeper sleep by recreating a womb-like environment. However, if your baby is more active or experiencing discomfort, we always prioritize their well-being and respect their timing.

Please note that home visits include a travel fee of $0.75/km (round trip), along with a $100 service fee to cover the additional time, setup, and equipment required to bring the studio experience to you.
